Site protection, Login protection, Login Restriction

Hold public registrations until someone you trust allows the account. The person cannot sign in, and Joomla's activation mail is not sent, until you approve.

Easy User Approval is a component, a user plugin, and a system plugin for Joomla 4, 5, and 6. New public accounts stay blocked. Approvers decide from an email, from the queue, or from the Users list. The first decision wins, and the audit log records who decided.

Install in minutes

Download EasyUserApproval_UNZIP.zip from the JoomlaX store.
Unzip it and install the pkg_easyuserapproval_*.zip from System > Install > Extensions.
Open Components > Easy User Approval > Configuration and confirm who receives the approver mail.
Register a test account on the public site. It should stay blocked.
Approve it from the queue, the Users list, or the mail. Then sign in with the password chosen at registration.
