Functionality

EasyBlog 5 is a very advanced, multi featured product that works very smoothly as a standalone item or integrated with other software

Ease of use

Everything works 'out of the box' and is easy to use with tooltips everywhere for individual or team blogs and a state of the art composer.

Support

Stackideas support is 24x7 and a customer's perfect dream - fast, creative, top quality, solving problems, and listening to feedback.

Documentation

The Online documentation could be better but the wealth of tooltips and detailed support forum answers mean I do not need it.

Value for money

It is excellent value for money, you get the best blogging product in the market with the best support for just over 20 cents per day.

I used this to: My community website on Joomla 3.4.4. I only use the latest versions of what I consider to be quality extensions and EasyBlog is definitely in that category, working in perfect harmony out of the box with the other products on my website.

Functionality

Many options, although difficult to configure. The upgrade is a nightmare (css, languages, html...)

Ease of use

For the end user is easy but for the website builder is too complex

Functionality

For the latest version, the update has been a nightmare and thus functionality suffered greatly. Even after months of bug fixes release.

Ease of use

EB has much functionality but due to lack of documentation and bugs, it is not "easy to use"

Support

Part of support is providing documentation. At the time of the version 5 release, Virtually no documentation existed and support lags.

Value for money

a promising extension but because of all the issues and bugs experienced much time was wasted. We will likely cut our losses and remove it.

Functionality

Great looking & working blogging extension for Joomla 3.x

Ease of use

Easy to use, organize, & post blog entries. But when upgrading from version 3.9.24 to 5.0.23, the installation would not go past 45%.

Support

Support is good as long as you give techsupport admin rights to phpmyadmin, ftp, & Joomla. I'd prefer not to & there was not enough diy info

Documentation

Documentation is fine for clean installs but the forum info on how to fix problems is poor. They need to explain how they fix a problem.

Value for money

Good but only if you are installing clean. I spent hours trying to get the upgrade installed. Reinstalled old ver then restored from backup.

I used this to: Technical and developmental blog listing changes to software I author or scientific data changes and updates.

Lots of functions, I'm not missing any.

Ease of use

Powerfull backend. Writing/editing posts could be a bit more easy/clear (better not using lightbox, my opinion), but still is very OK.

Support

Very fast, competent and friendly.

Value for money

For sure worth the money.

Composer has a slight learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never look back! It truly revolutionizes construction of posts

I would rate this 200 if I could. From small individual issues to big bugs, these guys are honest and quick to patch.

Documentation

Well-designed documentation section on their website. If you can't find it there, ask a question in their forums.

Value for money

Truly brings a whole new layer of control and design to Joomla!. It will surely meet any bloggers needs. It has met ours and beyond.

I used this to: managing a community of 100 users with grouping and permissions for each group. Team Blogging for wide-cast updates. I take advantage of the integration with other Stackideas products EasySocial, EasyDiscuss, Komento for an impressive user-friendly social-enabled experience.
