Multi Categorization

Allows you to publish Joomla! articles into multiple categories. Works for backend&frontend!
Full integration for article URL routing, breadcrums, blogs, page navigation, etc. + Preview Button in Article edit page!

MULTICATEGORY BLOG - possibility to make a menu item of MultiCategory Blog - articles from multiple category selection. Possible to set if articles have to belong to ALL selected categories or at least ONE of them. Not available under J4 currently.

As a bonus, you will recieve an Article Preview button functionality in toolbar of Article edit form view!

I was duplicating articles and then forgetting to change all the copies when they needed updating. This extension gets round that problem by allowing one copy of an article to be shown in multiple categories.

The only thing you have to remember is that there is only one article and therefore there is only one Article Ordering number so if you rely on this to sequence your articles in the categories you will have to think carefully about what to number the article in its base category.

This didn't prove a great problem for me and I think the extension is a real must have!

Great support as well when needed.

Multi categorization is a must have and this component does the job.

But I couldn't find a way to order my articles, in the different categories.

I needed an extension that suited a directory structure of articles, without having to duplicate content. It was also important to work well with other extensions - this one suited best. Other reviews gave me the confidence to purchase. I had one small issue with my template, Pavel attended to this specific 'tweak' in a flash. Recommended.

The extention itself is making Joomla a bit better. But the service is excellent. Didn't work out of the box in comination with another extension, but Pavel made it working very quick. Perfect!

I was having a problem with this extension after I installed it. I opened a trouble ticket with CW and got a quick response. They have a very good trouble ticket system which tracks the issue through the entire troubleshooting process. They were quick to respond and quickly resolved the problem. It was a pleasure to work with them - nice to have competent support with someone who is interested in solving my problem quickly.

Now that you know they provide excellent support - more about the product. It meets my needs and does exactly what I wanted - the canonical URL's are a must and it is a core part of this product. The user interface is easy to work with and well thought out.

Both the product and the support rate as excellent with me.

I think multiple categories is a must have for Joomla and its something that was missing. The good thing is though that this extension does just this and it does it well, I use it for a large website 77k hits a day and so far everything works like a clock. I had some questions and wrote to Pavel, I was surprised at how fast and how well documented his responses were.

If you need multiple categories dont think of it twice get CW MultiCategories.

We have a client with a LARGE Joomla site (pushing 77k articles and growing by 1000 a month), and up to this point, they copied articles to get them to appear in more than one category in Joomla. Standard Joomla practice.

CW Multicats solved a HUGE issue for them with duplicate content which affects Google rankings, and can be a pain with sh404sef and other SEF addons. CW Multicats worked perfect without a single change to the system.

Recently, we ran into a situation where we discovered that CBSubs didn't work with articles in more that one category. Ouch.. We reached out to the developer and he helped us by patching 1 file to get CBSubs working again with CW Multicats.

Kudos to fantastic support.. We're donating some extra bucks to to the developer for that one! We'll keep doing business with this developer.

A great extension. The author Pavel responded openly and promptly to all my queries so far, going as far as writing a patch for me when the plugin seemed to clash with another extension. This solved the problem immediately, enabling me to continue using the other plugin.

He also added the drag and drop functionality, following another query I had. What more would one want, from an extension and its author - someone who responds to queries and constantly works on improvements.

This is a must for any serious Joomla user. It should be part of the core.. but then again, it probably wouldn't wok as well as this.

I did have an issue with very particular circumstances, but supported fixed it and released and public update quickly. Quality!
