Introduction

Multi Categorization

Allows you to publish Joomla! articles into multiple categories. Works for backend&frontend!
Full integration for article URL routing, breadcrums, blogs, page navigation, etc. + Preview Button in Article edit page!

FEATURES:
- SMART CHOSEN layout - drag and drop sorting functionality for selected category order in this layout.
- Long awaited drag and drop ORDERING FOR MULTIPLE CATEGORIES!
- Drag and drop sorting category order for article in article detail form
- ACL included - visible only categories acording to user rights
- AJAX & jQuery powered
- No problems with SEF
- Breadcrumbs - showing correct path depending on in which category is the article viewed from (as it can be published in more categories)
- Possibility to enable creating Canonical URLs for articles in multiple categories - for avoiding having duplicate content!

MULTICATEGORY BLOG - possibility to make a menu item of MultiCategory Blog - articles from multiple category selection. Possible to set if articles have to belong to ALL selected categories or at least ONE of them. Not available under J4 currently.

As a bonus, you will recieve an Article Preview button functionality in toolbar of Article edit form view!

Excellent

I used this to: A large management library. We couldn't have done without this functionality.
I am aware that it has some core changes, but the support is excellent and reliable..
I had some issue with the t3 framework, and a patch was delivered very fast

Functionality

Excellent, works out of the box.

Ease of use

The (new) search box makes it really easy to work with when one has a lot of categories.

Support

Very competent & friendly support.

Documentation

Is available, but did not need it.

Value for money

Certainly worth it's costs. The article Preview button was a nice bonus to receive!

I used this to: Needed to be able publish certain articles in multiple categories. Using the Joomla TAG functionality would not work as there were sub-categories with the same name and this can not be setup with TAGS.
CW Multicategories was therefore the perfect solution to solve this problem.

Functionality

This extension is nice and give you the flexibility that you can insert a joomla article in different categories.

Ease of use

It is good to use but in case of a Joomla update the core hack goes not at all!

Support is good!

Documentation

could be better in case of sorting articles.

Value for money

I used this to: 2 weeks ago a client update joomla by herself because she saw the update notice (3.4.4).
What should I say, some minutes later I get a phone call because of this extension.

Functionality

Perfekte Lösung. Ein Beitrag aber in beliebigen Kategorien mehrfach zuordnen. Ideal zb für J2Store um schöne Shops aufzubauen.

Ease of use

Total einfach. Beitrag erstellen, Kategorien wählen, hat auch Suchfunktion für große Seiten. Umsortieren ganz einfach per Mausklick.

Support

Perfekter Support. Pavel antwortet schnell, nimmt sich der Problematiken sofort an. Hatte für einen Minifehler die Lösung binnen 24 Stunden

Documentation

Braucht man eigentlich nicht. Erklärt sich alles von selbst. Es soll aber in Kürze auch die Deutsche Sprachdatei mitgeliefert werden :-)

Value for money

Absolut das Geld wert. Eine Bereicherung für Joomla. Ich bereue die Ausgabe keineswegs. Verwende die MultiCat mittlerweilen bei mehr Seiten.

I used this to: Ich benutze das generell für große Seiten mit Redaktionen (zb unser-oesterreich) oder bei mehreren J2Store Onlineshop. Gerade da ist diese Erweiterung super. So kann man schöne und übersichtliche Strukturen im Shop ganz einfach aufbauen und auch ändern usw. Perfekte Lösung.

Functionality

If you need to set articles to multiple categories in Joomla this is the best solution.

Ease of use

This component is very easy to install and very easy to use. It should be a Joomla core component because it integrates perfectly.

Support

The support is perfect. I had trouble with a portfolio component from a different developer and the support helped me quick and efficiently.

Documentation

The component is documented very good and clear.

Value for money

Very cheap price for a very useful extension. Worth every dollar.

I used this to: I use this in a Joomla 3.3 Project where i assign articles to multiple categories. I show these articles in a portfolio where the article can't be limited to a single category so i needed a solution for the joomla restrictions.
