Who it is for
Joomla site builders, musicians, podcasters and content editors who want to embed Spotify players in articles or any custom-fields content through a proper field, simply by pasting a link.

Features

• Spotify field type — adds a new "Spotify" custom field you can create in any extension that supports Joomla custom fields: articles, categories, contacts, users and more.
• Paste a link or a URI — the field accepts a Spotify share link (open.spotify.com/…) or a Spotify URI (spotify:track:…). Both produce the same player, and links with a tracking parameter (?si=…) or a country prefix (/intl-de/) are accepted too.
• Six content types — embed tracks, albums, playlists, artists, podcasts (shows) and individual episodes.

PRO options

• Responsive or Classic mode (PRO) — Classic with a fixed width, height and alignment, or Responsive at 100% width.
• Width, height and alignment (PRO) — size the player in % or px and align it left, center or right (Classic mode).
• Player background colour (PRO) — set the colour used as the player's background.

How it works
Install the plugin, or use Install from Web and search for "Joomill", then enable the Spotify custom field plugin.
Under Content > Fields (or any custom-fields-enabled extension), create a new field of type "Spotify".
In Spotify, open a track, album, playlist, artist, podcast or episode, choose Share, and copy the link (or the Spotify URI).
Edit an article, paste the link into the field, and save. The player renders on the front end.
