When looking for tools to convert a Joomla 1.7 site to 3.x I came across this tool. It had good positive feedback so I bought it and used it to convert a 1.7 site to 3.2.2. It works like a charm, really smooth and fast. However, when I tried to open the site it didn't show up and in the admin section of the site not all parts were functioning. So I contact support. You never know how good support is until you need it. I received very fast a mail back and indeed, as indicated in the manual (which I should have read before) the problem was not due to the Migrate Me Plus tool, but due to incompatible components/modules/plugins. So I started by upgrading them one by one and when I completed the list the site functions perfectly. So before migrating a site it is best to make a full inventory of all the components/modules/etc. and check if they are compatible/available for the version to which you migrate. It is really a great tool, I can recommend it to everybody. The support I received is really top!

I had two OLD Joomla 1.6 and 1.7 sites that needed to be upgraded ASAP because they were hacked and I was dreading trying to figure out how to do it.



In steps the AWESOME Migrate Me Plus and in a few minutes BOTH sites are upgraded to Joomla 3.2.2



I cannot recommend Migrate Me Plus enough!!

I have upgraded 4 sites from J 2.5 to 3.2. No problems at all. Did the upgrades on WAMP, worked out all the kinks, and moved to live sites. Well worth the expense.

Best tool out there for migrating!

For a while I've been searching for an easy way to migrate my joomla 2.5 site to Joomla 3.2. I've been all the suggestions on how to do it by hand. Stop doing it the hard way and get this addon! It's worth every bit of the cost, especially if you have a well established site. Before migrating, please make sure your extensions and plugins,etc are J3.x compatible. If they are everything should be sailing. If they are not compatible, uninstall them first.

Another point I want to make is that Barnaby provides awesome support and has been a great help. Thank you Barnaby! :)

I already try to migrate form joomla 2.5 to joomla 3 without tools / extensions, but it always fail..

and then, I use this extension to migrate my web



i have problem with the migration, actually, the problem is in my hosting server environment which is do not support gzinflate and gzuncompress

But Barnaby help me to fix this issue and finally i can run my web in joomla 3..

this extension very good and support very fast and helpfull.

I think this is the best way to migrate form joomla 2.5 to joomla 3,
