J2XML is an easy to use import/export solution for your Joomla!® powered website.

It allows you to export content (articles, categories, users, tags, weblinks, viewing access levels, contacts, fields) to an xml file, import them from an xml file, or send them to another Joomla! website.

Very good solution when migrating Joomla

Functionality
Very good, but does not import usernotes when importing users. Does not import banners.
Ease of use
Easy to use and set up.
Support
Reportet missing usernotes and got answer imidiately, but no solution yet. Hope this will be fixed in next version.
Documentation
Easy to understand.
I used this to: Migrating to new versions or when rebuilding a site.

Maybe not review but please help

Functionality
J2XML is installed on the source & target system. You use two new buttons in the Article, Category and User Manager to export/send items.
Ease of use
It takes only 3 mouse clicks to push an article to the target system if you use direct transfer, but also the XML way works fast & flawless.
I used this to: I synchronize single articles between development, test and live Joomla instances. Configuration-wise you control overwrite conditions and filter item properties. Great: Images are included in an article transfer. This extension is also a Joomla-Handbuch recommendation.

Für meine Migration des Contents, der User und der Kategorien waren alle Funktionalitäten da. Mit fehlte nichts.
Ease of use
Mit der Extension war leicht umzugehen, sie war auch ohne Probleme zu installieren.
Support
Den Support brauchte ich nicht in Anspruch nehmen, da alles einwandfrei funktionierte.
Documentation
Die Doku ist super. Ich konnte ohne Probleme die Schritte nachverfolgen und so die Migration erfolgreich umsetzen.
I used this to: Ich habe die Extension genutzt, um damit Content, User und Sections/Categories von Joomla 1.5.26 nach Joomla 3.4.2 zu migrieren.

Moves articles, category and user account data flawlessly between Joomla sites of any supported version.
Ease of use
Couldn't be easier. Just activate the plug-in.
Documentation
Simple
I used this to: It is so simple to use that after registering the plug-in and exporting all of my source site articles I clicked the import button on my target site and bam. All of my articles went from 2.5 to 3.4 with 0 errors or issues. It was so quick that I was sure it failed. FLAWLESS!
