Introduction

J2XML is an easy to use import/export solution for your Joomla!® powered website.

It allows you to export content (articles, categories, users, tags, weblinks, viewing access levels, contacts, fields) to an xml file, import them from an xml file, or send them to another Joomla! website.

Muy buena, solo faltaría mejorar que cuando se pasa de una instalación a otra no tiene en cuenta los artículos borrados o categorías.
Ease of use
Muy fácil de usar e intuitiva.
Documentation
No encontré documentación al respecto, mas allá de la descripción que te da una idea de para que es.
I used this to: La usé para pasar de una instalación de joomla a otra, con la misma versión ya que tengo dos ambientes y necesito pasar los artículos y categorías de un lado hacia otro.

Very powerful and yet simple solution to the problem of moving data between major upgrades
Ease of use
Fairly easy to use but you must follow the instructions and you must be using the latest builds of each component to avoid errors
Support
Excellent support from the developer with quick responses to any questions asked but you must supply him with all of the version details
Documentation
Adequate to allow a novice user to be able to complete the tasks
I used this to: Moving my data from Joomla 1.5.26 across to Joomla 3.5.1

Functionality
I've used this extention several times without any problems. It's easy to use and works like a charm.
Ease of use
Really easy, install, export, import - be happy.
Support
After updating to Joomla 3.5.1 the extension didn't work anymore. I reported my problems and received immediate help! Works wonderful again.
Documentation
Unfortunately I haven't found any documentation - but until the Joomla update I've never needed one :)
I used this to: Importing and Exporting articles between sites (especially J2.5 to J3.5)

So great app !

Functionality
I wanted to have a fresh install of an old site, inherited from the time when Joomla! was Mambo ! Didn't want to copy/paste all the articles
Ease of use
Cool. Few parameters then export from old site ans import in the new one.
Documentation
Clear enough. Things are clear and kept simple.
I used this to: Transfer hundred of articles from a site that have been migrated from Mambo to Joomla! 1.0 and successors up to Joomla! 3.4.8. I wanted a fresh install without copy/pasting all the stuff. Seen many complicated and risky procedures. This app did the job like a charm !

I used this to: I have upgraded a number of Joomla sites. Previous I used SP Upgrade which is an excellent product too, but this extension is so easy to use if you're just bringing over articles and images. Great to use if you're deploying the same articles to numerous sites. A+++ rating on this

Easy to use. Reading the messages and the simple screens on the download site handled all my questions.

Very simple to use. All the documentation I needed was in the messages and the descriptions on the download page.
I used this to: I wanted to move users from a j1.5 site to a 3.4.8 site. This extension performed the task flawlessly.

Worked perfectly!
Ease of use
Brilliantly easy - I didn't even read the documentation and everything worked
I used this to: Articles only and not users, but I had read about J2XML, downloaded & installed IT, exported from 2.5 and imported into 3 in about 20 minutes without a hickup. Really impressed that it set up both the categories and then correctly slotted in all articles. Thanks heaps!

It works and it is so easy to use!

Top class. I had a minor issue with weblinks. Helios fixed it in the blink of an eye!
Documentation
The documentation is OK. You don't really need it!
I used this to: Moving weblinks from Joomla! 2.5 to 3.8. SP Transfer missed this bit as Weblinks is not a core component in J 3.8.

Import/export my user, is a very good extension
