Functionality

Conects Joomla & Mailchimp easily. Sync users, make newsletters, track results. Lots of features like signup form. Great for email marketing

Ease of use

Setup is simple. Manage from Joomla admin. Easy to make newsletters & add subscribers. Some advanced stuff might confuse newbies.

Support

Email, forum, and documentation-based support. Replied in under an hour.

Documentation

Good instructions cover evrything. Easy to find answers or get help from support. Kept up to date with new featurs.

Value for money

Worth the price. Saves time when sending newsletter. Pro-level email tool. There is no other plugin that compares. Good investmnt overall.

I used this to: I used this for connecting Mailchimp to Joomla. Easy setup, syncs users, manages lists from admin panel. Few styling hiccups, but great for email marketing in Joomla.

Ease of use

The only thing difficult is to discover everything this package provides. Setup is a breeze if you're familiar with Mailchimp & Joomla

Absolutely fair. Happy to pay for actively developed extensions.

I used this to: Sending newsletters and adding subscription form on my website. Before I had to go back and forth between Joomla and Mailchimp, now I have everything in one site.

Functionality

I don't even need to open the mailchimp website any more. I can manage subscribers, create and send newsletters and check reports. All in 1

Ease of use

The extension has so many features I probably didn't see all of it but there are plenty of hints in the extension that helped me figure out.

Support

I ran into a little problem (misunderstanding on my side) and contacted the developer who was super helpful. Couldn't be better.

Documentation

Documentation is basic but all you need to get started. Once you dive deeper there could be more instructions but developer is there to help

Value for money

The price is not worth mentioning considering the amount of features. They could easily ask 10 times as much and I'd still be happy!

I used this to: Added a newsletter module on my website. Managing subscribers, create newsletters and send them from Joomla admin panel. Review newsletter reports and performance. It's amazing!

Functionality

Installed this extension and have not been able to get it to work. I've tried sending a regular campaign and a test campaign, neither worked

Ease of use

Once setup, it is fairly easy to use. Took some time to create a template for our specific use.

Support

Next to non-existent. Notice that this extension has not been updated since 2017.

Documentation

Haven't really found any to speak of. The videos were not useful.

Value for money

I used this to: I want to be able to use this instead of going to the Mail Chimp site. This has not been update since 2017. I assume changes Mail Chimp has made has rendered the extension non-functional.

Functionality

Template upload not working properly. Plugin won't allow me upload neither .html, nor .zip file.

Ease of use

User interface is not very intuitive, practically with zero explanation. Unfortunately, labels are not self-explanatory.

Tried to search the forum, found a link to an older thread about my problem, but this latter throws a 404 error.

Value for money

I used this to: I wanted to integrate a custom made mailchimp template into Joomla backend.

Functionality

Works well, does exactly what it says it will do.

Ease of use

Never had a problem, an absolute sinch to set up, just put in your list ID, and your API key.

Support

Doesn't really exist, but that's ok it's well made, I've never needed any support. Think this could earn money if they charged for it.

Documentation

Built in documentation was fine for me.

Value for money

I used this to: Signing people up from my website to MailChimp directly, viewing stats of campaign sends.

This is a fantastic tool that not only links Joomla registration to Mailchimp, but also makes writing newsletters super easy. Joomla artcles can be included in the newsletter, and you can see a report that shows statistics on the newsletter from the admin section of Joomla - never need to login to Mailchimp at all!

The bad news is that it will not work with Joomla 3 and development appears to be stone cold dead. I have delayed moving my site to Joomla 3 for over a year while hoping that someone would update this app. So far, no response - and I can't wait any longer.
