Don't update if you use code / syntax highlighting

Functionality
Syntax highlighting is removed in the newest update 2.6.*.
Ease of use
Was great, has now become crap. Coding without syntax highlight is awefull.
I used this to: I use it for all my websites... but if they don't give the functionality back...it will be none.

Don't upgrade to 2.6 if you use Code View extensively

2.6 is a step back for free users. Code view no longer formats source code and no more find and replace. No longer useful for html writers.

It was great, until 2.6.0. Without a full HTML code editor (with sintaxe highlithing, and search and replace) it's just another editor.

New update allows plain text code editing only. JCE wants you to pay to get back the removed source code button in PRO version. Uninstalling

Functionality
JCE has always worked as expected. Installing, using and updating have thrown no errors or created any issues.
Ease of use
Totally easy to install, configure, use and update. Tons of configuration options - easy to figure out.
Support
Excellent and superior to most other third party component support I've encountered, most of which is really good!
Documentation
I've always been able to find answers to questions regarding configuration, use, update, etc.
I used this to: I install this component on every Joomla site I build. It is far superior to the default text editor which comes with Joomla and an absolutely "must have" component whenever a client or group of users need to add content to the site. It's familiar to content contributors.

great enhancements of Joomla editor funtionality.With different user profiles you can give the different user levels the tools they need.
Ease of use
A breeze to get up & running and if you step deeper into you will find a load of options to make it work exacly like you want/need!
Support
A big forum which is read only for non-subsribers but is searchable and offers a lot of answers.
Documentation
Well maintained documentation on the website - and great for beginners - a help button directly in the editor - sadly only in english.
I used this to: nearly every Joomla! project i doing for the last 7 years

Many useful functions/settings, intuitive, I like create elegant file download link*, simple gallery*, export/import settings and much more.
Ease of use
Very intuitive, user's default settings, simply super :-)

Detailed documentations and public forum, extension is translated to many language.
I used this to: For all websites running on Joomla. I try many other editors and JCE is the best editor for me. I highly recommend purchase JCE subscription to access very useful plugins.
