Excellent and flexible calendar

Functionality
Multi-functional calendar with many options, you can adapt it to your specific needs.
Ease of use
Front-end creation of events/reservations comes in handy. Configuration may seem a little overwhelming at first but is in fact very potent.
Support
Had a few questions, found a little bug, but these people reacted super-fast and solved my little problem in an instant.
Documentation
Documentation is clear and to-the-point. Possible questions are answered rapidly.
Value for money
The extension is worth the money. Bookmark these developers
I used this to: I purchased VJ Calendar to create multiple agendas and show all reservations for multiple locations made by groups/associations/persons, so in this case the component-versions of the calendars came in handy.

Functionality
It does everything that gCalendar did, but when that stopped working and was replaced with a paid version, it was time to look around. Since I had to pay, might as well do some research.
Ease of use
Very easy to use - once you figure out the Google end of it.
Support
Awesome support! I had no less than 4 issues, a couple of which were possibly due to my own ignorance, and all were addressed within a very short time frame, after allowing for time zone differences, and some responses were within the hour. One of them was a serious issue with the mapping addresses from Google Calendar into Google Maps. They fixed this in almost no time and sent me the updated component.
Documentation
To be fair, I didn't spend much time there, but had I done so, MAYBE one or to of my issues were addressed there. But their support team didn't ONCE imply that I should RTFM. They just helped.
Value for money
Definitely worth the spend. I'm sure that DP calendar does a great job, since it's free predecessor did too, but I didn't want to pay an ongoing subscription. This is just a fraction of the price.
I used this to: Listing and mapping events for martial arts tournaments in Australia and other countries.

Google changed their api earlier this month, displayed no calendar entries. Support let me know to download new version that corrected this change.

Functionality
our church web site needed a calendar mod that synced with google calendar since gcalendar no longer functioned. VJcalendar was extremely simple to get up and running, and with the many themes our calendar is even better than before at a fraction of the cost.
Ease of use
we had the new extension up and running in about ten minutes. There's some work to get it synced with Google but the support was stellar and immediate to get it functioning.
Support
had a slight problem understanding the instructions but I emailed support and had an answer within minutes.
Documentation
Manual could be more explanatory for novices but honestly it's not too hard to understand as it is.
Value for money
having a working calendar for a large organization at the tiny cost they are charging is priceless.
I used this to: our non profit web site for a church and academy.

Functionality
This is the best calendar (especially for google calendars) I used so far. It is very flexible, and provides all of the functionality my customers need.
Ease of use
No other calendar I know is such simple to use and so flexible.

Brilliant, outstanding, professional.....! I had a few questions and within minutes I received helpful, precise and friendly answers.

Functionality
I need to display my church's calendar (we use Google Calendar) and upcoming events. I was using GCalendar and had to seek an alternative since Google deprecated Google Calendar API v2. The follow on to GCalendar - DPCalendar Free - did not support Google Calendar. In comparing the paid version of DPCalendar and VJ Calendar, VJ Calendar had a better cost-to-value ratio - IMHO. VJ Calendar perfectly displays my Google Calendar and upcoming events.
Ease of use
As easy to setup and use as any other Joomla module.
Support
Support was great! I, of course, waited to the last minute to update to a calendar extension that supported Google Calendar API v3. VJ Tools responded to my email in minutes and worked with me to get VJ Calendar installed, configured and themed for my website. Excellent service!

Functionality
Does what I need it to do: display my Google calendar onto my joomla website.
Ease of use
Once set up it's very easy to use. Setting up is not very difficult, but can be confusing for a novice or inexperienced user (the google calendar bit)
Support
Support is easy, awesome and fast. Had a few issues setting up and got an email back within hours. Even wrote a custom bit of code and send it to me in a update package.
Documentation
Documentation could be a little better. I had some issues understanding how to set up the google calendar link. For me (a not very skilled amateur web maker) it was a little fuzy, but managed to get it working in the end (with help from support)
Value for money
Great value for money. If you're looking for a calendar plugin that works with your google calender or even orther commercial plugins as Zoo: second to none. Absolutely worth the money, much cheaper then any alternative.
I used this to: I am an entertainer and use this pligin to display upcoming shows on my website. Also repeating clients can consult the calendar to see wheter or not I'm available on a specific date

Functionality
Needed a quick solution to replace a google calendar module that no longer worked after Google API 3 change
Ease of use
implementation works fine, however here and there cumbersome to make css style changes
Support
great, the original mini calendar would only show start dates of an event, however, it was important for us to have more days marked as 'booked'. I received a modified module to accomplish this. (I believe now its implemented in the package)
Value for money
Good value, especially because the support was great
