Select the most suitable skin, what totally fit to your template, or create custom ones. Whichever you choose, the result of the setting will be a well-designed search module. We recommend this theme if you would like to search in galleries, or sites, where the images are in the focus.

Elegant Theme

Elegant Theme represent the discreet visualization of the Live Search. With many options it can make similar to your existing modules and can fit to your site. Searchbox is extremely important on websites, this theme won't make you disappointed.

Simple Theme

Functionality

You can produce a very professional site. It allow for predictive text and image searches and multiple styles. It is very configurable/fast.

Ease of use

lots of options but you need to read the documentation and experiment.

Support

This may be abandoned. We have paid for priority support with no outcome and seen that a similar current issue re: php 8 isn't fixed

Documentation

Good documentation but you still need to experiment as this modules and plugins are flexible/powerful.

Value for money

This and mijosearch are the best two search plugins by far but their support is bad.

I used this to: e-commerce sites with large numbers of products and it copes very well speed wise with php 7. It's not working with php 8 and hangs but, hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Modul funguje perfektně na verzi PHP 7
Při pokusu o přechod na PHP 8 je nefunkční, ale vypadá to, že chyba není závažná. Čekáme na opravu.

Ease of use

Implementace je poměrně jednoduchá. Stačí nainstalovat, umístit na web a přizpůsobit CSS styly podle vzhledu stránek.

Value for money

Cena přijatelná v závislosti na tom co má modul v sobě obsaženo za funkcionality.

I used this to: Vyhledávání míst na webových stránkách - cestovatelský portál (hrady, zámky apd.).

PHP 7 Works perfectly however broken on PHP 8

Functionality

Perfect working on Php 7* however stops working on php 8* cannot even open modules in back end as it gives 500 error

Ease of use

Once you get your head around the inner workings it is pretty simple to setup and tweak to match your existing site

Support

Were pretty responsive when i did have a question ref plugins to be added for certain 3rd party tools with a decent price for custom plugin

Documentation

Documentation if needed is pretty well laid out and self explanatory

Value for money

The priced asked is reasonable for the quality of product provided

I used this to: I did use this for the main search option on my paperless system which made it very easy for users to find their documents, however with it not working on PHP 8 and having not been updated for 3 years it is time to find a different plugin

Functionality

Allows the fast indexing and near instant results on large sites. Provides a dropdown list of results with images. Perfect for ecommerce

Ease of use

Has many features and functions that allow prebuilt layouts. Quite complex under the hood, but easy to figure out after you read the docs

Support

Provided online. Good tech support if you're ok to wait a day or two sometimes.

Documentation

Very good. Again, the extension is quiet complex but the docs follow a logical path that will help you set up the module as required.

Value for money

Very good. The functions are well worth the cost and you can use the extension on multiple sites

It works very well but complex to understand and a bit pricey as well.

I used this to: Used this on my Joomla website - Intention was to use it for K2 and VM but due to complexity, I gave up and went with another extension which is super simple.

Functionality

The results are pretty awesome with images and features, like font on pricing, image size, intro and colors. You can set up everything.

Ease of use

It is easy to use and if there is a problem, you can read the documentation or open a ticket in support.

Support

The supporting team is very good, friendly and helpful. Quick reply and always the problem is solved.

The documentation is all you need to set up the module. Everything is in here, with explanations in every step.

Value for money

Worth the money for sure. Suggested if you are searching a fast Search.

Functionality

Love the results! Needed a better Search function with a RocketTheme website and one that could be restricted to a specific Article category

Ease of use

Reasonable, took some research on Joomla's built-in search plugins, etc. Also required Offlajn's free "Content Improved" search plugin

Documentation

There is documentation, but suffers from somewhat poor english, making it a bit difficult to understand meanings, etc. But it's there!

Value for money

I used this to: The nice thing about this software is that I could create a couple different looks for Search boxes (modules) to fit specific spots/pages. I love the look and it's very easy to adjust the look to almost anything you need. A lot of versatility and several very different looks .

The functionality is exactly, what I was searching for. Shows everything on the website and what is configured.

Ease of use

It is very simple to use indeed and the configuration is done by a few clicks.

Support

Support is excellent and quick. All questions are answered in no time.

Documentation

The documentation for the usage itself is very good. Just for customization, I had to ask some questions.

Value for money

The money is definitely worth it, if you look for a search functionality, which catches different parts of you content.

I used this to: My webshop, which doesn't have a specific plugin support, yet. But I found a simple trick to get pictures shown anyway. Just added the line /.jpg" /> to the very beginning of each article and the plugin finds it.
