To work with some databases, an appropriate php extension may need to be installed and enabled
  • This is open-source software under GPL license

Possible use-cases:
1. Get and show products with images in a sortable, filterable table
2. Personal information: get current user data from database and display responsive tab accordion with information (person information on one the tab, his image on the second tab, table with person data on the third tab, etc.)
3. Retrieve number of orders of some product per month and display as line chart
4. Read CSV file with information and show data as sortable, filterable, skinnable table
5. Embed file, article, document, video or audio on the page

Functionality
I haven't tried all functions yet, but those I use works very well and as expected.
Ease of use
If you follow the rules, it's very easy to use.
Support
I had some trouble, wrote support and they reacted almost instantly. Super support.
Documentation
Documentation is there. Not much, but enough.
Value for money
There are several products in a package and I'm only using 2-3 of them, but I still think it's value for money, because it's so easy to use.
I used this to: I have been using VJTools for 3 months now in 2 different sites, and feel very safe in company with the product.

This is not a shiny and fancy extension loaded with beautifull and complicated control panel, this is a serious peace of work for serious user. It does exactly what it says. You have nice level of customization, including templates and language files. Last thing: I've seen fast support but this is much more than expected.
