jDBexport allows you to deliver any data from your databases (JOOMLA and others) as Excel documents directly to your users. Write any valid SQL query in the administration of this component and combine such queries into multiple Excel worksheets/workbooks. Get help from ChatGPT to create your SQL query directly within the component. The query is executed when a user clicks the downloadlink (frontend or backend) and the current result of the query is delivered to the user as a downloadable Excel file (or any other of the below listed document formats). With the on-the-fly ajax-driven SQL syntax checker, the multitude of available export dataformats, formatting options and a great number of database drivers to get your data from, jDBexport is very likely the most exhaustive reporting instrument and data mining tool available on the market.

Main features

  • create data reports in various formats (xlsx, xls, ods, csv, html, pdf, json) from your databases
  • individualise these reports with variable substition (such as userid or current date) or parameters entered by the user
  • embed graphical charts (bar, pie, area, line, etc.) based on the requested data into your worksheets
  • format these reports with colors, fonts, backgrounds (also alternating backgrounds), images, headers and footers, borders and more
  • use a wide varity of conditions (including the result of SQL queries) for conditional formatting
  • add additional cells with text, images or results from additional SQL queries
  • define autofilter areas within your worksheets
  • add any additional files (e.g. Excel Makros in an *.xlmx file) along with your workbook when compressing is activated
  • deliver these reports regularly and fully automatically to your users, utilising our sophisticated scheduler
  • define SQL based rules whether to run the scheduled task or not
  • or let the users request these reports online or in the background or through the GoogleDocViewer
  • or let the users preview these reports in a HTML preview within your website
  • or prepare these reports (without showing them) for post processing with individual programs
  • include virtually any accessible database - local or remote - into your reports (MySQL, MariaDB, MS-SQL, ORACLE, SQLite3, DB2, INGRES, SAP MaxDB, PostgreSQL, Firebird and others)
  • let AI help you with creating your SQL query with our integrated ChatGPT prompt
  • check the validity of your SQL query with our on-the-fly (AJAX-driven) SQL syntax checker, while preparing the worksheet
  • get inline help on creating your SQL queries, or reference the SQL manual that corresponds to your environment

das Tool macht genau das was es soll und hat viel Möglichkeiten wie es eingesetzt werden kann, als Nachfolger von SQL 2 Excel Pro
Ease of use
sehr leicht zu bedienen und überschaubar, logisch aufgebaut
Support
der Support ist unschlagbar neue Anforderung werden schnell umgesetzt und bei Fehlern wird kompetent weitergeholfen
Documentation
habe ich noch nicht benötigt ist aber sehr übersichtlich
Value for money
bei rechtzeitiger jährlicher Verlängerung ist es den Preis auf jeden Fall wert

Does exactly what it says it will - and leads you through the process beautifully
Ease of use
You'll wonder why you ever used anything else - but make sure you at least skim-read the manual

Haven't needed it yet - but the support I've has been timely, complete and clear

Everything you need to know and best of all, clear and concise
Value for money
Excellent- a great time-saver. The product sold itself - I didn't bother with an evaluation copy first and I wasn't disappointed
I used this to: Database reporting, and probably a great deal more. Experimenting with a combination of this and Breezing Forms at the moment - so far, the two are complementary. This is the way software should be written - but usually isn't.

I have been using this product for over 6 years. Since its been taken over by Schultz IT, it has just been getting better and better

Functionality
I have made several Workbooks that helped a lot. It always collects the latest data into a fresh Excel-sheet of html-output.
Ease of use
The possibilities of formulas and formatting are great. I must admit, knowledge of Excel and SQL is required to use it to the full extent.
Support
Direct support from the developer is simply perfect. Response is quick and solutions are round the corner.
Documentation
Extended documentation about the possibilities is available online, with lots of examples.
Value for money
It was totally worth it to buy the extension and support the developer. He's really committed to get you the solution you want.
I used this to: I use it for generating downloadable reports about filled in forms (made with BreezingForms) and to get latest data from my users (for sending a mailing for instance). I've been a happy user also when it was still SQL2Excel.

Functionality
Creates Excel Workbooks with multiple sheets and formatting from your Joomla and even external databases. Also can export worksheets as CSV.
Ease of use
Configuration is easy, setup of sheets also, even verifies your SQL queries.
Support
Brilliant. The developer is friendly, responds quickly and also implements additional features.
Documentation
Component is quite self-explanatory. Additional documentation is on the website. There could be more, but it is sufficient for most cases.
Value for money
Reasonable pricing. Well worth it.
I used this to: Exporting event attendees. Synchronisation of calendars across multiple sites.

A lot of functionality to export data and format your data. You need to know SQL for ask the good. The result is very clean.

You need to read the documentation but it's useful after.

Functionality
Exactly what I need. Couldn't find any other component with this functionality and all the features.
Ease of use
It is easy to use, the learning curve isn't that steep. If you have a problem, you will be helped in a matter of a few hours.
Support
Very very quick. Schultz IT came up with a solution for every single one of my problems.
If something is not possible the feature is added.
Documentation
The documentation is very actual, easy to use, with lot's of examples.
Value for money
Schultz IT will help you until your problem is fixed and this for a little over 30 Euros.
I used this to: Exporting data for example from Event Booking (Joomdonation) to Excel. The teacher receives a list of attendees with all needed information.
Address lists for all of our members from the component Fabrik.

Functionality
Easy to create tables in a lot of different formats. Able to mine data from database and insert into content or send in email as attachment.
Ease of use
The live SQL syntax check, clear user interface makes the component easy to use.
Support
Support is excellent, fast and always delivers solution.
Documentation
Online documentation available directly from the component.
Value for money
Definitely great value for money.
I used this to: I bought the paid version of its great predecessor, which was discontinued, so I was glad to hear about its reborn.
Since then, the component has been completely rewritten, with improved database support, extended file format support, with always expanding features.
