Very good extension, but the downloadable version has limited functionality compared to the Github version (which one is buggy).

I have been using this extension. It requires some learning curve and need to dig into code to understand some of the functionality due to lack of enough documentation(though in the site there are documentations to some extent but when searching for solutions to issues, not able to find them).



I would suggest to open the forum to public as it is now being closed. I cannot post the issues into the forums. Hence I face difficulty.



However, overall I would like to congratulate the team on bringing out such a promising extension.

Revelation. I do not know how it will develop the project and whether it suddenly costs do not appear extra, but a completely new horizons and opportunities for Joomla! users. Congratulations atutorowi idea and good work.

I stumbled upon this plugin recently while trying to create a custom search process for a client.



We needed to import several fields of data and have it searchable through the built in Joomla search engine.



After searching for something that would work and coming up short, I came across Fabrik.



I am not one to read instructions until I have installed the system and tried to make it work. Within 20 minutes I had this custom search working.



I did need support to get things perfect and ended purchasing 30 days of premium support.



All my posts to the forum were answered promptly and accurately. After a few core coding modifications, my search function is working exactly how we want it.



The one gripe I have is that communications sent via email in response to the order receipt and the contact us form on their website were not promptly responded to. Stick with messaging in the forums and this is where they shined.

Before i know fabrikar, i'm just beginner web master. Only know using joomla without touch the code which is limit for me.



After meet Fabrikar, now i become database system designer because i learn alot about PHP, CSS and MySQL just learning from fabrikar.

By far the best tool to build customized from east to complex applications. It has plenty of features and you can achieve almost everything. Of course in order to get the most of it you have to spend a lot of time but it's sure that you will be rewarded. The gyus in the forum (Rob, Hugh, Troester) as well as the whole Fabrik community are very helpful and even if you are a novice you will find always an answer! I use it for more than 3 years on different projects with different complexity and I will continue to use it because it is no 1!

I run my $3M vacation rental business 100% using fabrik. It's amazing, and rob and hugh and the fabrik community that support it are also outstanding.



can't believe i hadn't remembered to review it before! i've been using it for 3 years now.

I was planing to use Fabrik for a job transfer page where the clients would have to drop their CV online. So I stumbled over Fabrik and Fabrik is great!



It has a quite unique set of possibilities and, ok with some knowledge, it could really rock the forms extensions. Its fairly easy to get into it.



I was so impressed by what I saw, I actually wanted to sign up and buy a standard subscription and here the "could" part begins.



I really understand if somebody does provide free extensions and does not have the time to support the forum on a daily base. But Fabrikar got subscription plans and offers extended support... exactly what I was looking for.



Unfortunately the payment form does not work and after two messages (one online form, the other one by email) and a forum post, asking how I may send them money, no reaction at all came back!



Thinking about a technical problem to solve I really don't want to know how long this would take if they aren't able to give an answer on this topic!



So, enjoy Fabrik but dont expect much from Fabrikar.

This is one of the best Joomla component. Still perfectible, but quite powerfull to build good applications without effort.

I highly recommand it to all Joomla users.

I have used Fabrik at every opportunity for several years now. I am amused by some of the reviews here, done apparently by folks who have not read the extensive support materials available at the site. I would concede that some php and MySQL skills are very very useful in crafting Fabrik "solutions", but Hugh and Rob, as well as some very generous users, do a great job of coaching newbies through complex issues.

I can't praise them or Fabrik highly enough.
