Introduction

Articles comments

JLex Comment is a powerful comment system for Joomla 3. It provides a quick way to let your readers post comments on your content pages or provide valuable feedback. The component was developed to meet several needs such as easy administration, powerful front-end features, fast comment moderation and easy integration with other content components. It was designed to be easy for beginners and powerful enough for advanced users to administer and control.
This component can use with any Joomla! extension. Currently, we provide 12+ add-on to support popular extensions. http://www.jlexart.com/documentation/jlex-comment#section-2-2

Main Features:

  • (Access Control) Specify what users or user groups can do when commenting. You are in full control in managing user activities.

  • (Roles) Adding a roles for special user group. Such as Admin, Moderator or Premium..etc.

  • (Import/Migrators) You can import comment from CSV file or special extensions like as JComment, K2 or Virtuemart.

  • (Replacer) By using this tool, you can replace part of a comment with HTML code. Eg: Convert a Youtube video url to embed code, Bold text...etc

  • (File attachment) Attach a file to better illustrate your opinion. There are also thumbnails and lightbox preview when you attach images in comments.

  • (Using a photo as comment) The conversation will become more interesting, better by using GIF animate photo or a static image.

  • (Mention) The member can mention a people in conversation. This feature will help to increase user interaction in your site.

  • (Live Comment Preview) This feature allows your users to see how their comment will appear on the site as they type it.

  • (Login by Social ID) You can leave a comment by using your social ID: Facebook/Twitter/Google

  • (Anti-spam) Spam can be kept in control with the built-in captcha tool or use ReCaptcha to have tighter control of unwanted comments.

  • (100% Responsive Layout) JLex Comment's responsive layout guarantees the perfect look for your website no matter what mobile devices or screen solutions it’s rendering on.

Functionality
This extension has many features. I've been using it for a few months and it mostly works fine.
Ease of use
Easy to use for both users and administrators. There are a few features I don't use but may be useful to others.
Support
Fast and focused support. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo impressive!
Documentation
Value for money
I bought the individual package. I'm satisfied with the money I spent.
I used this to: I have a blog and was looking for a commenting extension. It's great to know it.

Functionality
It has all the options and functionality I can possibly want and some options I had never even thought of before.
Ease of use
The backend is well organized, easy to understand and navigate. Novice users will have no problem working with the settings page.
Support
The support system seems to work well with quick help from the developer when needed.
Documentation
Online documentation is comprehensive and easy to follow

It really makes me happy that the CSS file is easy to read and edit.
Value for money
I spent $29 on this extension and I'm glad I did, it is worth every penny. It has unlimited installations, which is also great.

I used this to: Enabling visitors to comment on my blog and some other articles.

Functionality
This really works and works well. does everything most people expect from a commenting system, inc attachments, nesting, links, @someone etc
Ease of use
Really easy to use, including excellent navigation between comments with clever fading highlights and automatic scrolling where you expect
Support
Victor is very good, responsive and implemented several features swiftly which made the product better. Helped with CSS custom- thanks a lot
Documentation
Top notch, very clear and useful and Victor supplied further clarifications promptly whenever necessary
Value for money
Very good value for money and good investment given the excellent personalised support
I used this to: Collaborate with clients and suppliers and it really helps the fact that the layout is extremely clean and easy to navigate and shows the participants

Functionality
It has more features than all of the comment extensions put together.
Ease of use
It isn't harder to use than any other comment extensions. 90% of the options are self explained.
Support
The developer is listening to the users requests. And if you find an extension bug then he will fix this on your site.
Documentation
I never needed the documentation for this extension. But the documentation is there for people who need it.
Value for money
When i compare the price of other extensions and their functionalities and support then this is a very good price.
I used this to: I'm using this extension on my private website which has now over 2000 comments.

Functionality
Jlex Comment has a great many advance features compared to other popular Joomla comment plugins.
Ease of use
Many parts of JLex Comment are extremely easy to use. Setting everything up for the first time, does require some patience.
Support
Support for JLex Comment is second to none. The developer of this plugin offers 11/10 support !!!
Documentation
Overall documentation is very good, however some sections do need updating, but there is enough to get you going.
Value for money
Excellent value for money, due to the high level of functionality in the Administrator Control Panel.
I used this to: On my site I have students asking questions about tutorials. I use Jlex comment for general Q&A. I am able to integrate Public user comments and Registered user comments, extremely well with JLex Comment.
