Functionality

If you need a smart search, this will do it. I would especially recommend it to use together with other Minitek components.

Ease of use

The components/modules and comp/mod instances seem a bit complicated at first, but once you start configuring it speaks for itself.

Support

Support is fast and satisfactory, my questions were quickly answered and resolved.

Documentation

The documentation covers most questions one may have, just had to contact support to ask where some settings I needed were at.

Value for money

It does what it promises, especially valuable when using in combination with other Minitek components.

I used this to: I used this in particular to add a search engine for my FAQ, using the Minitek FAQBook Pro. The two components work well together.

100% ideal for product search of virtuemart

Ease of use

very easy - slight issue caused by server set up but quickly addressed by developer who updated the product

faultless - answered when he said he would - and went the extra mile

Functionality

Exactly as advertised. It is great.

Ease of use

Awesome for the users. Dead simple, looks good and perfect funtion.

Support

Great ... had minor issues which were fixed quickly.

Very good.

Value for money

Great. Part of subscription which was worth every cent. Got this, Forum (discussion) and FAQ which we'll use immediately.

I used this to: Minitek FAQ instant search results. Support great. Will only work (like all Minitek stuff) if your site is error free. In our case, we had errors due to Rokbooster. We turned this off; everything worked perfectly. Existing errors on the site were 90% of our issues with setup.

Functionality

Works great with FaqBook Pro which is what I wanted it for

Ease of use

I found it a little intimidating before I read the documentation but it was easy set set up and worked right off the bat.

Support

Have not needed support yet.

Documentation

I read and followed the documentation step by step and everything worked as expected on the first try. No issues at all with docs.

Value for money

Well worth the money for FaqBook Pro. It should help reduce the number of duplicate questions tremendously.

I used this to: providing a search function for FaqBook Pro. It is clean, works exactly as I would expect it to, and should drastically cut down on the number of duplicate questions I get. I am sure my customers will really find it useful. Great job Yannis!

Functionality

Everything worked except the live search component. It kept coming back with no results, though the search page itself was finding articles

Ease of use

Not too easy to set up. Follow the directions 100% and you will get something, but like in our case, may or may not work

Support

Support insisted on access to a clients firewall but they would not allow access to 3rd party. Gave screenshots but no help.

Documentation

Confusing and sparse. Just more or less follow what they wrote to set it up.

Value for money

Would be GREAT value for money if it worked.

I used this to: Joomla website for a large casino. Support refused to help and just issued a refund rather than get on skype and see the problem in action.

You say "Support insisted on access to a clients firewall". This is not true. I never insisted on you giving me access to your client's firewall

What I asked was a link to a live site where I can see the problem.

As I explained to you in the support ticket, if I can't see your website it is impossible to know what is the problem.
The screenshots you sent me were inadequate to explain the problem you were facing.

If you had provided me with a live demo version of your website (even a stripped one), I would be happy to assist you and the problem would have been solved within a few minutes.

Functionality

Very good Functionality! It shows results when you are typing so you can get what you need without even writing the whole phrase!

Ease of use

There are a lot of settings because you can have multiple "search modules" for many purposes.Pay attention on configurations and you're done

Support

Support is even better than component! They solved a lot of problems that I had with template issues telling me what to do with css! QUICKLY

Value for money

When you watch this "Live Search" running on your website ... you'll be glad you payed for It! :-)
