Filters

Fully customizable, blazing fast filters, from Custom Fields, Categories, Tags and native fields (like the Created By and the Created Date)..
Multiple display types for each filter: Links, Checkboxes, Drop-down lists, Calendars, Range Sliders, Radio Buttons, Buttons, Buttons Multi-Select.
Integrate it with YOOtheme Pro, to design the results page to your liking.
Can be used to create also article collection pages (i.e. menu items) by various filtering criteria.

Create pages (i.e. menu items) by custom field values, tags, categories, authors, dates and any of these combined.

Functionality
Brilliant. Integrates into Joomla's native fields and field groups to enable aggregation of content, filtering and advanced search.
Ease of use
Map out your requirements first, do your homework on Joomla fields, tags, categories. There is no limit on the capability of JFilters.
Support
Exceptional. The team were super-responsive to several requests.
Documentation
Excellent. Well laid out and thorough. Was able to apply the documentation in practical terms.
I used this to: Cataloguing a musicians lifetime body of work of faith-based music. With hundreds of music tracks, each with different origins, genres, applications and more, the site is essentially built on the back of the JFilter extension. It would have been impossible without it.

Functionality
The extensions works perfectly and does what promises. I think that more more layout options could be added
Ease of use
Simple install and setup. Could be not friendly to work with the sort of many customfields but it is a joomla limit.
Support
Escellent. I have asked info about setup and support department was very quick and professional.
Documentation
Documentation is simple but suffient. Anyway Support is very fast and detailed.
I used this to: Filter articles for real-estate website. Seo options are very useful

Functionality
Robust content filtering via Smart Search & custom fields. Handles diverse criteria for commercial properties
Ease of use
Initial setup clear; deep configuration required but logical. Excellent integration with Joomla's core; module positioning straightforward.
Support
While my specific issue was resolved through my own debugging, the developer's helpful insights and documentation are invaluable.
Documentation
The fact i did not need any support to get the system working is a testament to documentation and that it is based on Smart Search helped
I used this to: Filtering commercial properties by location, type (retail/leisure), and size. JFilters integrates seamlessly with Joomshaper's Helix Ultimate, allowing for a card/blog layout using Marc Dechèvre's Grid CSS without template overrides, resulting in a perfectly responsive display.

A must have tool !

Functionality
Pre-Filtering content on a link or filtering search results page. Juste great!
Ease of use
Easy to instal and making your first filter. Search filtered results or pre-filtered page can be made with Yootheme !

A simple documentation for a simple tool. Easy to read and efficient most of the time.

Functionality
JFilters is a great extension to create a catalog on your website. Lots of configuration options.
Ease of use
The extension requires some technical knowledge, but you don't have to be a pro. I've created custom overrides for my design, easy to do.
Support
I'm very happy with the excellent support! Especially in my case, where it involved a conflict with another extension.
Documentation
I used this to: Catalog on a real estate website to filter properties (Joomla articles) by different custom fields.

Functionality
Very powerful filter extension. Lots of configurable options and integration into Yootheme page builder which is essential for us.
Ease of use
An initial learning curve getting started, but a clean usable interface with docs and good support to help when I got stuck.
Support
Great support, usually responds on the same day. Also, was willing to develop custom functionality for a reasonable cost too!
Documentation
The simple to follow documentation is very helpful. It could do with expanding a bit to cover more use-case scenarios.
I used this to: Used on multiple sites in tandem with Joomla's search field to create a search/filter bar on the home page which goes to search results that have additional filtering capabilities.

Functionality
Different filters for all kind of Joomla content. works also for contacts. Filters on content, also with Ajax loading.
Ease of use
You have to understand the concept of the filters, but then it is easy to change the single filter styles and add them to differen modules
Support
Direkt support tickets, also with private tickets if needed. All my issues were solved really fast, or even custom solutions are offered.
Documentation
I used this to: I us this on some websites for different filter types - for categories, for tags, for custom fields. I also add it in YOOtheme Pro Results and it is very flexible. The default layouts are also with a nice design, so you can use it just out of the box.

Functionality
I was looking for an extension to create lists of results based on tags or categories. With JFilter you can do both, and much more.
Ease of use
Once you understand how it works, it's pretty straightforward. But at this point, there's still plenty to discover.
Support
Support is responsive, which helps a lot. There's a knowledge base with lots of questions already answered if you're looking for something.
Documentation
The documentation is pretty straightforward, but it's backed up by the knowledge base.
I used this to: I've used JFilter to create a search interface for records, based on Tags. Just perfect!

Functionality
It's so easy to setup the filters and the support is immediate. Especially that I use the yootheme builder I have setup template pages asap
