RO CSVI is an import and export component for the Joomla Content Management System. RO CSVI enables you can import and export data into and from different Joomla components. Every component features its own import and export types to allow control over every part of the component.

Using a system that works based on a set of pre-defined fields you can match your fields with the RO CSVI fields to ensure a correct import. This way you can import all kinds of files from different kinds of sources, for example from your supplier.

Using the same set of pre-defined fields you can set your own export fields to export for an accounting package, order list, order picking list and many other uses.

Migration Templates
As of RO CSVI 8.5.0 we ship ready to use migration templates for all the Joomla core extensions that we support. This will make the migration from a Joomla 3 to a Joomla 4 site a breeze. There is a walkthrough guide available on how to use the templates and how to export the data from the old site and import the data in the new site. A very easy way to get a clean start with your existing data.

Functionality

Great tool,using it for a few years now, started with free one but on Pro for a while now and it's just great, please read what I use it for

Ease of use

It is very easy to use as long as you know what you're doing... You have to setup import/export templates

Support

Support is very prompt, I've never had to wait more than 24 hours (due to time difference) and usually the team replies within a few hours.

Documentation

The forum is great! Most answers to common and complicated issues are documented. There is also a manual for every function and tutorials

Value for money

Very reasonable! In my case deffinately worth the money as I would not be able to add my products, product builder configs, filters manually

Functionality

Brilliant, complex initially but once you start to understand the component, there really is very little you cannot do with it.

Ease of use

Difficult at first (i'm using it with virtuemart content, so i have a lot of custom fields and strange configurations to work with.

Support

Brilliant, queries are normally answered with an hour or so, sometime less. The support is second to none.

Documentation

There is some great documentation covering all the basics and more.

Value for money

10/10

I used this to: Virtuemart products (over 3000) with variants, child products and custom field.

Id be amazed if there was a import component available!

Functionality

There are so many functions of this component, and RolandD is always developing more. I primarily use it for importing to VirtueMart.

Ease of use

Sometimes the documentation can be a little confusing (user error?), but overall the component is well laid out and very easily usable

Support

Second to none. If you have an issue, RolandD will fix it and then some. He is understanding and his support staff are just as awesome.

Documentation that I have read is generically laid out quite well, though lacking depth in some cases.

Value for money

Well worth every penny in my case. 5,000 products importing/exporting every day is a lot to do manually.

I used this to: Importing and Exporting programs in and out of VirtueMart. My distributor updates their product lists nightly and so do I. If you are looking for an import/export component that will let you sit back and relax while it does the heavy lifting, this is the component for you.
