Configuration Details:
Client ID and Client Secret
These are mandatory credentials obtained when registering your application in the Yandex OAuth system. They enable secure communication between your website and Yandex services. Integration is impossible without them.

Allow Login for Unlinked Accounts
When enabled, any visitor can log in via Yandex—even if their Yandex account isn’t yet associated with a Joomla user profile. While convenient for new users, this setting requires caution, as matching email addresses could potentially lead to unauthorized access.

Automatic Profile Creation
On the user’s first Yandex login, a new Joomla account is created automatically—no manual registration needed. The entire process happens with a single click.

Force New Account Creation
In this mode, the system ignores any existing Joomla accounts with the same email and always creates a new profile. Useful for testing or isolated environments, but not recommended for live production sites.

Skip Email Verification
If Yandex confirms the email address as valid, Joomla can bypass its standard email confirmation step. This speeds up the login process and enhances user experience.

Username Format
The plugin gives you complete control over how the username appears after login:
• Full email (e.g., [email protected] ) — ideal for guaranteed uniqueness
• Local part only (e.g., ivanov) — concise and readable
