E-Mail Authentication Plugin for Joomla! 5 / 6
This plugin allows your users to authenticate themselves on your Joomla! website with their email address (used during registration). Instead of the username, visitors simply enter the mail address of the account.

The core Joomla authentication plugin keeps handling usernames, so both continue to work side by side. Logging into the administrator with an e-mail address is off by default and can be enabled in the plugin options.

A note:
The plugin does not adapt the language files. This means that if you want the login window to say "user name or e-mail address" instead of "user name", you have to realise this via Joomla's own language overrides.

vos utilisateurs peuvent maintenant se connecter en FRONT avec leur email + option dans le plugin à cocher pour le permettre en BO

simple et rapide, installé et activé, ça fonctionne parfaitement, ouvrir les paramètre du plugin pour l'activé en backoffice

La funcionalidad es correcta, hace lo que dice que hace, de forma simple y efectiva. Probado en Joomla 5.

Ease of use

Muy muy muy fácil de usar, basta instalar, habilitar y ya está funcionando. No se necesita nada más.

Functionality

I had an old J3 "login with email" plug-in that was unfortunately no longer compatible with J4 and J5.
That one do the job as advertised.

Ease of use

Install and enable the plugin, nothing else is required to make it work

I used this to: I've installed this plugin on couple of websites migrated from Joomla3 to Joomla4 and Joomla5. THANK YOU
