Assign alternative links to Joomla articles and send visitors to internal or external pages instead of the default article URL.

Article Alternative Link adds an “Alternative Link” field to the Joomla article editor.

When an alternative URL is specified, the article title, Read More button, and other article links can point to the selected destination instead of the standard Joomla article page.

The plugin is useful for teasers, catalogs, listings, and other cases where an article acts as a card or preview but should open another page.

Supported features include:

external URLs;
relative URLs;
Joomla internal system URLs;
automatic SEF conversion for internal links;
redirection from the default article URL;
integration with Joomla's standard inline help system.

If no alternative link is specified, the article works normally.

Article Alternative Link добавляет в редактор материала Joomla поле «Альтернативная ссылка».

Если для материала указан другой URL, его заголовок, кнопка «Подробнее» и другие ссылки могут вести не на стандартную страницу материала, а на выбранный адрес.

Плагин подходит для анонсов, каталогов, подборок и других случаев, когда материал используется как карточка или элемент списка, но должен открывать другую страницу.

Поддерживаются:

внешние URL;
относительные ссылки;
внутренние системные ссылки Joomla;
автоматическое преобразование внутренних ссылок в SEF;
перенаправление со стандартного URL материала;
стандартная система подсказок Joomla.

Если альтернативная ссылка не задана, материал работает как обычно.
