Great Component - Simplistic, easy to load and use!

Ignite Gallery is a GREAT component and was exactly what I was looking for. From easy installation to easy configuration, this gallery is just plain simplistic to use, expecially for the novice Joomla user. I was able to install and create several galleries in just a few minutes. Also, one of the perks is the well-written and very helpful documentation that comes along with it. This was a GREAT find - - thanks again!

Can't Re-size Gallery

Great if you are using a template with only one or two columns. Wouldn't fit in mine and you can't re-size the gallery in the current version.



Easy to install and use otherwise! : )
Owner's reply: You can resize the gallery, I am working on a more intuitive way to do it. It seems this user has not looked at the tips or forum or contacted me, before drawing such final conclusions about the component.

Simple upload, easy to use and worked exactly per the instructions. I didn't need a lot of fancy bells and whistles so this gallery was just perfect.

Very easy to use, simple and beautiful presentation of photos and artwork.



The only downside is that photos need to be uploaded one at a time in the current version, but the author is working on fixing that. There is also a limit of 30 photos per gallery in this version, also being upgraded in future versions.



Otherwise its a fantastic gallery component, highly recommended.

I am new to Joomla (and to web design), and found this Ignite Galleries incredibly simple to install. I managed to have a professional looking gallery up and running on my site within minutes!!.



Very well documented with easy to follow instructions.

Installation a breeze

I've had this component and plugin installed for a day now and so far so good.



Had no problems with installation of creating my photo galleries. Changing the background/border colors was extremely easy.



One thing I did notice is that the gallery link is not clickable after creating it. You will need to put a check into the box in order to edit the created gallery.



Love the plugin availability.

The single page of documentation on the developer's site was all I needed to get the photo gallery up and running. This is an excellent tool.

This was a great gallery and very easy to use compared to some of the other extensions I have tried. Up and running in no time. I am using it on my webstie at www.alamanceblackbelt.com and believe it adds professionalism and character to the site.

This is simple and easy to use. Documentation is great and it looks classy.



My recommendations, as this seems to be a product in development, is to allow for the resizing mentioned below, as well as providing an option to put the thumbnail navigation on the top or bottom.



I do like being able to zoom in or have the picture pop out in a larger side, but thats quite I project I feel.

where could i change the dimension of the gallery to certain dimension?(of course if this is posible)

Owner's reply: At the moment the gallery width is fixed, as the gallery is a flash file. I am working on putting variable width into a future release, Thanks for the feedback.
