Introduction

jsWeather is a lightweight and versatile Joomla module that displays weather information for any location, including information such as, humidity, barometric pressure, wind, visibility. It was developed using the latest current version of openWeatherMap as weather data source.

  • An easy-to-use and dynamic display of weather data
  • Optional display of the current weather, a 5-day weather forecast or a combined display of the current weather and weather forecast.
  • A temperature diagram with tooltips is provided in the respective daily details.
  • supports five different layouts for displaying the current weather or weather forecasts.
  • different layouts can be used simultaneously for different modules on one page.
  • Uses weather data provided via a location name, geographical coordinates or the geolocation of visitors.
  • offers an interactive solution with the Joomla system extension jphpx
  • weather data can be cached for better performance and system usage. With version 1.4, the Joomla database is used as a cache backend.
  • OpenWeatherMap API support

jsWeather ist ein einfaches und vielseitiges Joomla-Modul, das Wetterinformationen für jeden Ort anzeigt, einschließlich von Informationen wie, Luftfeuchtigkeit, Luftdruck, Wind, Sicht. Es wurde von jschmidt-systemberatung unter Verwendung der letzten aktuellen Version von openWeatherMap als Wetterdatenquelle entwickelt.

Functionality
It does excacly what it is supposed to do. Display current weather data
Ease of use
Very easy to use and provides the option to use weather fonts instead of openweather map default icons

Super support, i suggested something to the developer and he instantly added a new feature to the module
Documentation
I used this to: I used this to display current weather conditions for a specific city. I did some css modifications in order to dispaly just temperature and the icon on my navbar
