Introduction

Weather

GK4 is new generation of our extensions based on the GNU General Public License.

Weather GK4 is a module used for presenting weather conditions from Yahoo! Weather forecast services.

This module allows you to display weather forecast from any place in the world you wish with a great ease. It is displayed in the form of images and text.

Module version for Joomla 1.5 (support only Google Weather Services) you can download here: http://bit.ly/g79ALo

Changelog:
- Google Weather API is no longer available so all options connected with this API was removed.
- Support for Yahoo! Weather forecast added
- Module options interface totally rebuilt
- New system to download data which creates backup copy, thanks to which in the case of unavailability of data, there will be used data downloaded recently
- Possibility of specifying number of days a weather forecast involves

Functionality
The weather data from Yahoo is consistently wrong with this and every other module that uses it. Wish it used NOAA data
Ease of use
Very easy to install and set up
I used this to: Show local weather. Temps are off by 10 to 20 degrees. Wind is off by 10 mph. I don't use it now. I use another module that uses NOAA data that is accurate but the styling is crap. Wish this one had accurate data because the installation and styling is great.

Functionality
This is what I was looking for, but the temps are always incorrect. They are usually off by 20 degrees if not more.

Functionality
I wanted to like this, but in the end, it just doesn't work. Just displays big question marks or completely erroneous info.
Ease of use
Clunky to setup, the WOEID doesn't correctly identify our location.
Support
Terrible to horrible. Basically a bunch of unanswered questions in their forum. Sad.
I used this to: Wanted to show weather on our homepage. This doesn't work on Joomla 3.5.1.

Display the weather with nice icons.
Ease of use
Very easy to use, easier that the other weather modules I have used before.
Support
No support but by sending a message from their webpage you get a fast answer.
Documentation
You don't need documentation, it's so easy to use.

Perfect, looks great and works like a charm

Simple to use out of the box

This free module doesn't have support, but I reported a bug after 3/5 upgrade and was impressed by the quick fix and a response.
I used this to: I use it on a SUP lessons site in Portugal and it shows the great weather they have there most of the year.

There are changes in yahoo API so if y can change module to fit new version of yahoo api
I used this to: To increase the security measure and better serving our YDN customers, weather data source will enforce OAuth 1 starting March 15, 2016. Please update your API calls with OAuth 1 enabled (via the OAuth /v1/yql end point if using YQL) using your Yahoo App key and secret.

Not showing temp and city suddenly

Works nice, responsive - HOWEVER, the weather is never correct. It will be daytime and you see a moon as the icon. temp always wrong.

Very easy to configure, not much to it.
