This VirtueMart 2.x/3.x payment plugin is based on the standard PayPal plugin except it allows you to charge recurring payments / subscriptions. You can charge a regular fee, or you can charge a one off setup fee followed by the regular fee. The regular fee can be daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or can recur over any number of days, weeks, months or years.

VirtueMart vouchers/coupons can be handled and can be applied to either the setup fee or the recurring fee.

This plugin can handle a shop containing products with a mixture recurring prices and fixed prices within a single order.

Functionality

This plugin functions very smoothly inside of Virtuemart. Use with Products/Services you want to have an auto recurring payment.

Ease of use

Simple navigation with a clear, pdf manual if needed...

Support

Matt was great...helped diagnosed that my Paypal account IPN feature was turned off... nothing to do with product.

We bought this extension on Jan 23rd, 2014. Although payment was properly done, we did not get access to the download link (as activation link was sent out broken).

You can only buy this 30 GBP extension togehter with a 5 GBP monthly recurring payment. If you want to stop that, you have to go in a roundabout way to the paypal page to cancel. What a fuss!

Company does not react in appropriate time on messages written on company's own contact page, although sent within working hours in Britain.

We regret having bought from this provider, we would never do it again.

Owner's reply: This person initially contacted us with a very patronising and offensive email, which we responded to politely in 2 hours 59 minutes. This person's second curt and patronising email was responded to politely within 9 minutes. I think that is well within industry averages.
This person's only problem was that rather than click the download link at the checkout success page, they decided to wait for the confirmation email, which their spam filter deleted. The offensive and accusatory nature of their correspondence was unnecessary, and full details of how to access the download were provided in response.
A full explanation of the support subscription is available on the product page before buying, along with the simple method to cancel the subscription at any time.
