Introduction

Payage is a free Joomla Component that manages online payments via multiple payment gateways for multiple Joomla components. It has a well-documented API so is an ideal payment platform for any Joomla component.

Payage only deals with payments. It is not a shopping cart or a booking system. On its own it does nothing useful. But when used as an isolation layer between the application and the payment gateways, it makes the application code simpler and cleaner, and makes it relatively straightforward to add new payment gateways.

Payage can produce and email PDF invoices, and has several reports and charts to help you analyse your historical payments.

Payage was primarily developed for use by our own components, but it is free and open source so can be used by anyone to simplify the development of a component that requires payment interfaces.

Payage currently supports PayPal Standard, PayPal Checkout, Stripe, Mollie, Barclaycard ePDQ, Opayo, WorldPay, Authorize.Net (deprecated) and Offline (manual) payments.

Functionality
Generic payment gateway for several payment options and payment service providers. that way all common payment methods can be offered
Ease of use
install, configure, design invoice and your set to go. i don't know what can be eiser than this. it also support 3rd party integration
Support
excellent support, quick answers to any quistions you have. this is the way support should be
Documentation
not needed.. component is easy to understand and the working / configuration make sense. out of the box integration with other components
I used this to: payment gateway for mediashop. selling digital media. works verry well with mollie payment provider. works verry fast. nice reporting

Functionality
Payage provides a good range of options for accepting payments, including Stripe, PayPal, WorldPay, and also offline.
Ease of use
Payage has to be implemented with care, but has a very good Developer Guide and a sample component to help.
Support
This is free software, and the support I have received goes well beyond what one is entitled to expect for free.
Documentation
In addition to the Developer Guide there is a very good User Guide.
I used this to: Building an option to buy "points" for cash in UserPoints - the modernised version of Alpha/Alta User Points, which will have an entry in the JED soon.

Functionality
Brilliantly simple for enabling customers to pay with multiple payment gateways, including offline. I use the Offline and PayPal gateways.
Ease of use
Couldn't be easier...and I'm not a web designer or software guy. Just follow the comprehensive documentation and it all 'just works'.
Support
I have received first class and very fast support from this developer across several of their extensions that I use.
Documentation
The documentation is what makes this extension so easy to use. It's written in a way where you do not have to guess anything. First class.

Questo componente è studiato per consentire pagamenti. E' presente in vari componenti della stessa software house. Ha anche le criptovalute!

Se si installa con i componenti del produttore esso entra subito in funzione e non c'è da configurare nulla se non gli elementi stessi.

La documentazione è completa e didattica! Tutti i loro componenti sono superdescritti e il loro linguaggio è chiaro e pulito.
I used this to: Io utilizzo questo componente per Rentalot. Gestisce i pagamenti perfettamente. Non lo uso per Flexycontacts ma consente di soddisfare i pagamenti pure per FlexyContacts. Si integra con tutto. Io lo uso da anni e funziona benissimo.

Functionality
The functionality that this extension provides is incredible! So many payment gateways that can be used!!!
Ease of use
It is really easy to use Payage. I am using in conjunction with FlexiContact Plus, which is from the same developer

I encountered a small issue and the developer helped me to solve it very quickly
Documentation
The documentation is really extensive and detailed. The documentation covers all the payment gateways available in the extension
I used this to: To process payments on my website, through Stripe and PayPal and in two different languages. I encourage everybody to use this extension and give the developer some love by leaving a review :)

Functionality
I implemented the Payage Test Payment with Worldpay. The extension correctly performed the test transaction from a front-end menu
Ease of use
Very easy to use in Joomla.
Support
Auto response immediate. Now anticipating support regarding displaying Payage from within module rather than article
Documentation
Documentation was in perfectly easy to understand language with no technical jargons.
I used this to: An e-commerce project that requires integration with Worlpay.

Functionality
I usually do not write reviews but this component made me to write one. It's extremely functioning component, a lot of payment processors.
Ease of use
Ver simple, very easy. Read the guidelines and you don't need to ask any questions.
Support
Not needed, the documentation is so detailed and so easy to follow!
Documentation
Amazing! Everything in details!
I used this to: Processing payments (usually booking travel programs on the website.) It's extremely well coded and easy component that has lots of lots of functions.

Functionality
Online and Offline payment methods supported. Additional Plugin to add button functionality to articles is fantastic.
Ease of use
Extremely easy to use with intuitive functionality organised is a simple to understand manner.
Support
Nothing short of superb! Emails are always answered quickly and contain clear and easy to follow instructions when required.
Documentation
The clarity of Les Arbres Design's documentation generally is the best I've found for any extension - and I've used many over the years.
I used this to: For a luxury self-catering holiday let website, integrated with Les Arbres Design's Rentalot Plus (equally excellent!). Also as the link to WorldPay for a 'standard' Joomla! website where the Plugin was invaluable - no need for an unnecessary shopping cart integration, simple!
