Functionality

Gets the job done with no fuss

Ease of use

So easy, that I wonder how safe it is. Without logging in, you can exexute site_url/index.php?option=com_autoupdate&task=getUpdate ???

Documentation

Might be a bit more elaborated, i.e. explain use of curl or wget in cron command, etc. Some cron command examples would help here.
